Exterior Step Edges ADM5 Exterior DDA Compliant

The ADM5 Exterior stair edging comprises of an aluminium channel with a choice of coloured insert.  Its 55mm dimension on both the tread and the riser meets the guidance in Approved Document M and BS8300:2009+A1:2010.

It is a square, single channel, ramp back profile and is ideal for use where no floorcoverings are used, e.g. a fire escape stairs, outside concrete steps.

ADM5 Exterior also has a coloured insert on the riser so a single solid band of colour can be achieved in line with the guidance in ADM. Both the insert on the tread and the riser should be of contrasting colour to at least a 30 point difference of LRV to the surrounding floor finish. 

It is designed to be installed directly onto the concrete step and fixed with adhesive (we recommend Rapidbond) and fixed with stainless steel screws.
